it all started with coffee...
Back in the day, when we were just kids, we met while Alex worked at the coffee shop outside the jewelry store Stephanie worked in. Alex finally worked up the courage to ask Stephanie out on a date.
Fast forward to the proposal- Alex got down on one knee on a moonlit night at the lake. After saying YES! Alex turned on the outside light so Steph could see the ring, and a bird flew out of the light and smacked Alex in the chest. We still laugh about it.
We've grown a lot since those early days. Now we have a teen, a preteen, and 3 fur babes. We love to eat, travel, hike, go to the lake or mountains with our family or anything we can get to be creative with. We also love a good cup of coffee or handmade mocktail. Reminds us of the early days!

What started as a passion for making t-shirts for our Etsy shop turned into a full blown photography and videography business. When taking pictures of the items was more enjoyable than creating the item, we knew this was it. We were hooked.

I love being creative. In elementary school my mom thought I would be in graphic design just from the amount of time I spent on the art part of a project. Construction paper and scissors were my fav.
In high school I spent any free time I had in the art room. It was my happy place! It was there that I learned how to use the dark room and develop film which sparked my interest for photography.
Then about 10 years ago, I started an Etsy shop and grew to love taking the photos of the products more than making the actual items! I progressed from taking pictures of my handmade items to pets, animals and then people. Once I shot my first wedding I was hooked!
I love documentary style, candid, “in the moment'' photography and I’m always looking for the little glimpses that tell the story. Also, I’m an enneagram 2 through and through, so I’m so passionate about helping my clients on their most special day!
Well, more about me besides being a photographer…I’m a wife of 14 years, mother to two smart + witty kids, pet mom to a zoo of- 2 dogs and a cat, and huge hiking fan (I recently completed two “14ers” aka hiking a 14,000 ft mountain).

With 13 years experience in emergency medicine I'm ready for anything a wedding day might throw my way. I enjoy being organized and ready to go at a seconds notice (guess EMS still lives in me).
In high school, I also learned how to develop film and still enjoy doing it today. When I'm not doing video, I love time lapse photography like astro photography and light painting.
My family comes to me when something breaks. I enjoy a good challenge. Taking things apart, figuring out how they work is fun to me.
I'm an enneagram 5, although I may be more on the quiet side, I'm constantly taking everything in and analyzing. Also enjoy the practice of stoicism.
In my free time, I enjoy learning about new gear, hiking (14ers with Steph), wood working, welding, reading, astro and 35mm film photography. My latest hobby is a good nerf battle with the fam.
